Let's Play 2018 High School Equipment Makeover Challenge

This year Memphis School of Excellence High School entered the Let's Play 2018 High School Equipment Makeover Challenge. The challenge was to create a 60-90 second video explaining how our school would benefit from a a grant presented by Let's Play and Dr. Pepper to revitalize and rejuvenate our athletics program. It is our pleasure to announce Memphis School of Excellence placed second in the nation and has just been awarded a $25,000 grant to support all of our sports teams at MSE! Check out our video below and go Eagles!

MSE Volleyball Team

On October 8, the MSE volleyball team played in regional tournament. They won the first game against BTW to qualify for the regional championship against Middle College. The girls lost a hard fought match and traveled Halls, TN to play the Region 7 champion. The girls rose to the challenge, but were outmatched by the experience of the Halls' team.

This is the second year that our girls were league and district champions. This is the first year that they have been regional runner up. We are so proud of our volleyball team and can't wait to see what next year brings.

100% Graduation Rate

On October 1st, the TN Department of Education published the official 2018 graduation rates. MSE is proud to announce that we were one of 3 SCS schools to accomplish a 100% graduation rate. This is 5th year that MSE has achieved this milestone!

We want to thank all of our parents, teachers, students, and staff for all of the work they have done to help make this possible! We are proud of our graduating students and can't wait to see what the future has in store for them.
